The Dacorum Environmental Forum Water Group supported a consultation event - the action planning
project for the rivers Bulbourne, Gade and Ver in November last year. The Environment Agency
is currently working in partnership with the CMS, the Chilterns Chalk Steam Project and
Dacorum Environmental Forum Water Group to develop an action plan for these rivers.
The document produced will act as a guide for these rivers and will help to show potential
for river restoration by identifying areas of opportunity within river catchments.
The Three Valleys Water Upper River Gade Sustainability Programme can also help contribute
to this plan. The Dacorum Environmental Forum Water Group will update members of its progress
this year and continue to feed other relevant issues into the plan.
